The KI4AWK 51.7MHz Repeater is located on the WCTV tower in Metcalfe, Georgia. It is a split repeater, with the transmitter located at 500 feet and the receiver located at 1000 feet. It is open, no PL tone needed. The Transmitter is a Mitrek set at about 60 Watts. The audio from the receiver travels down to the controller and transmitter box (shown here)

 

This is a 500 kHz split, meaning you have to set your radio to transmit on 51.2 MHz and receive on 51.7 MHz.

 

The antenna is currently two DB 212s, one for transmit, one for receive.
